Abstract

Through the field practice of researchers in the field of teaching and their participation in many tournaments inside and outside the university and reviewing many literatures, it was noted that many students' level of performance changes during official competitions from what they were during training units, and the reason for this may be their exposure to psychological stresses that are closely related to their performance during the match, which affects the performance of their skills during the match, so the researchers decided to study this case among indoor soccer students by using specific relaxation exercises during the last part of their training units and to know the effect of these exercises in reducing stress and their impact on the performance of the handling and scoring skills of students in indoor soccer, as well as the extent of their impact on the students' results. The most important conclusions were:

1- The practice of relaxation exercises by the experimental sample had an effect on reducing stress and its impact on the skills of handling and scoring in indoor soccer, as it helped to accelerate the processes of returning to normal.

2-The students of the halls enjoy varying degrees of psychological stress in the skills of handling and scoring in indoor soccer under the conditions of sports competition and low degrees during training units.
