The effect of the learning strategy for mastery on the competitive behavior and skill performance of the smash hit for junior badminton players

The aim of the research was to prepare a scale for competitive behavior for players, as well as to identify the effect of the learning strategy for mastery on the competitive behavior and skill performance of the smash hit for junior badminton players. The researcher followed the experimental method by designing two equal groups with pre- and post-tests. The research community represented the juniors of Al-Mahawil Sports Club, numbering (30) players, and they were divided into two experimental and control groups equally. The researcher used the appropriate tools and devices for the research procedures, and the exploratory experiment was conducted and scientific transactions were found. After that, the pre-tests and equivalence were conducted, and then the learning strategy for mastery was applied to the sample of the experimental group, during (4) weeks, at a rate of two educational units per week and with a time of (90) minutes For the educational unit, and after completing the application of the strategy, post-tests were conducted on the research sample, and after obtaining the results and processing them statistically, the researcher made conclusions from them for the learning strategy to mastery a major role in developing competitive behavior and skill performance of the smash hit for badminton juniors, and in light of these research conclusions, the researcher recommended the necessity of adopting the learning strategy to mastery in learning the skill performance of the smash hit, in addition to emphasizing the continuous testing of players for important psychological variables.
