The world is witnessing a continuous development and interest in educational activities, but in the modern era, this interest has become rapid because a large number of researchers have established foundations, methods, and teaching techniques, making it essential to use them. These methods aim to increase and activate the effective participation of students in teaching sports activities. It is the focal point of learning and provides the opportunity for independent learning, making it more effective. Active learning is one of the modern teaching methods based on the principle that students learn to think and fulfill their roles. Therefore, the researcher decided to engage in this experience to introduce exercises according to the active learning strategy in football for a sample of third-year students at the College of Physical Education for the academic year 2023-2024, to determine the extent of the impact of the exercises on improving transitional speed and performance in the skill of scoring in football. The experimental curriculum used involved two groups: a control group and an experimental group, with pre- and post-measurements. The sample of the research consisted of third-year students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for the academic year 2023-2024.
