The effect of problem-solving strategy in developing compatibility and mobility flexibility and learning dueling skill for students

Abstract

The research problem crystallized in problems that accompany the development of students' mobility abilities, which will negatively affect learning fencing skills, including the skill of stabbing, and thus not scoring points and achieving victory in matches, so the researcher decided to go into this experience by using a problem-solving strategy that includes preparing development exercises for the purpose of solving Problems that stand in the way of developing compatibility and mobility flexibility Learn swordsmanship skills, including the skill of stabbing duel for students.

The research aimed to identify the effect of problem-solving strategy on developing some motor abilities and learning the skill of stabbing duel for students.

The researcher used the experimental approach to design the two equal groups with the two pre and post tests to apply the vocabulary of the problem-solving strategy, and the research community was determined to apply the problem-solving strategy to the students of the third stage of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / University of Kufa, who are (16) students, and the sample was divided equally into two groups Experimental and control, and after performing the pre-tests, the members of the experimental group began to apply the educational units prepared by the researcher and continued for a period of eight weeks every week as an educational unit. After completing the units' vocabulary, the researcher conducted the post tests, then collected data and was treated statistically with the (spss) program.

As for the most important conclusions, they are that the exercises prepared by the researcher according to the problem-solving strategy helped greatly in developing the compatibility and mobility flexibility of the students, as well as the time period in which the exercises were applied according to the problem-solving strategy helped greatly in learning the skill of stabbing in duel for students. It is the necessity of using a problem-solving strategy to develop students' motor abilities, as well as conducting studies on other activities and age groups.
