The effect of the biorhythm and its physical cycle on the level of performance of the kinetic chain on the pommel horse device

Abstract

The biological rhythm is related to biological activity and its regular vital changes of short and long term, during which physical, emotional, mental and intuitive activity increases or decreases in humans, which is called science (ancient and modern) and some consider it old as a result of the many pieces of information that many scientists, thinkers and doctors research and study, while it is considered modern (as a result of the tremendous technical progress that humans are currently experiencing, as the biological rhythm is related to the development of the rhythm of contemporary life and the tremendous development that has occurred in communications and transportation technology.

The study aimed to identify the level of performance of the kinetic chain on the pommel horse device among second-stage students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.

The researcher used the descriptive method on a sample tested in the intentional way, as it included (10) second-stage students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences (University of Babylon) for the academic year 2023 - 2024 because they can perform the movement chains on the six gymnastic devices.

After taking the information from the sample individuals, which is related to the date of birth, the information was entered into the biorhythm program on the computer, which can provide us with all the indicators that occur to the physical curve. The researcher concluded:

1- The research sample advanced in the level of technical performance on the pommel horse device during the peak stage of the biorhythm curve in its physical cycle than during the short stage.
