Abstract

The descriptive approach was used due to its suitability to the nature and objectives of the research. The research community included all the teams participating in the African Championship, namely (Libya, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Cameroon), who numbered (60) players. The research sample consisted of (36) players, and statistical treatment was done and used. For the purposes of achieving goals, which are the arithmetic mean, the standard deviation, the calculated (T) value, the level of significance, and the degree of freedom, the research results showed that the general level of the players in the emotional traits was at an average level, while the level of the players in the dimensions of the emotional traits was a degree that ranged between medium And the weak. There is no relationship between the variables of emotional traits and the variable of match results, which indicates that there is a relationship between the variables of emotional traits. Researchers recommend the need to pay attention to the characteristics of the emotional traits of volleyball players, as well as increasing attention to the emotional traits of players and their role in developing the technical, skill and tactical level.
