Our world is characterized by rapid change in all its aspects, even developing its distinctive sound. Then began many of them, which were called the emerging revolution, and the technological progress that we are witnessing. Therefore, it was necessary for education to keep pace with this revolution and benefit from it and its activities, including respecting it for learners in order to adapt to the nature of the era. On the other hand, education benefits from the inventions of this technological revolution to achieve its goals. Global society is also witnessing major changes with the advent of the information age and the communications revolution.
The current research aims to design an educational program based on the use of educational computer software prepared with hypermedia technology and to identify its impact on the level of learning and skill performance among students.
The research problem was: Despite numerous studies conducted to identify the effectiveness of various technological techniques in the educational process, these studies have not addressed the use of hypermedia technology in the field of basketball. This prompted the researchers to design and produce educational computer software prepared using hypermedia technology to teach certain basketball skills and to study the impact of its use on student learning.
The researchers used an experimental approach with an experimental design for two groups: an experimental group and a control group. The most important results of the study: The computer software developed using hypermedia technology contributed positively to the learning and performance levels of the basketball skills under study, as well as to the cognitive achievement of the experimental group.
