A boxer must train on movement speed, which plays an important role in the tactical performance of basic boxing skills. For example, a boxer is characterized by movement speed in fights to be able to land a legal punch and defend against an attack. The motor response and its timing affect the attack and defense process, and thus affect the speed of the opposing boxer, thus affecting the motor response accuracy. Motor accuracy in punching is often closely related to the outcome of a fight. The researcher found that there is a weakness in scoring points compared to the number of punches. After reviewing Arab and foreign sources and research, and being a national team player, coach, and observer, the researcher believes that motor response is related to the accuracy of effective punching. The researcher was able to delve into this study and determine the extent of the relationship between motor response and motor accuracy in punching in fights. The hypothesis was established that there are statistically significant differences between motor speed and motor accuracy among boxers in clubs in Babylon Governorate.
