The research aims to identify special exercises and their impact on developing sensorimotor abilities and performance of a series of free ground movements for first-year students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in Zawiya. The researcher used the experimental method with a two-group equivalent design with pre- and post-test measurements. The sample was randomly selected from the research community, which is first-year students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Zawiya, for suitability. The number of individuals in the basic sample for the research was (60) students, representing two groups from this academic stage. The data was processed, and the most important results were that special exercises have a positive effect on sensorimotor abilities, represented by the sense of time, visual sense, and sense of balance, as well as the level of performance of a series of free ground movements in the exercise subject for first-year students.
