Abstract

The study aimed to determine the effect of an intermittent training method organized according to the fifth training zone on developing the speed repetition ability of soccer players. The researchers used an experimental approach on a sample of (36) players from the Rapid de Glizan team under 19 years of age. The researchers relied on the experimental approach in their study, given the nature of the study. The sample was divided into two homogeneous groups, each comprising 10 players. The training modules were applied for nine weeks. The researchers then conducted post-tests on the two research samples. The results revealed statistically significant differences at the 0.05 significance level and 9 degrees of freedom, i.e., there was a significant difference between the mean scores in favor of the experimental group in the speed repeatability (RSA) tests.
