The study focuses on the relationship between mental abilities and the level of performance of the scoring skill in football. It is evident that psychological factors such as concentration, decision-making speed, and spatial awareness are key drivers for improving the accuracy and speed of scoring in intense competitive conditions. The results showed that players with these superior mental abilities achieve higher success rates in converting opportunities into goals, confirming that the mental aspect is no less important than the physical aspect in athletic performance. Accordingly, the study recommended the necessity of integrating mental training into sports training programs, providing specialized workshops to enhance these skills, and adopting advanced assessment methods to measure players' mental abilities. Research in this area is an urgent necessity to enhance and develop sports training practices in line with global developments in sports, which contributes to raising the levels of performance and competitiveness of players.
