Abstract

The volleyball player, with the various offensive and defensive tasks assigned to him through his presence in various playing positions, is the primary axis for achieving victory or accomplishment. Therefore, studying anthropometric measurements and determining their relationship to the accuracy of performance of the game's skills is a priority. Through this, the research aimed to determine the level of measurements and their relationship to the accuracy of performance of the offensive wrist and blocking skills. The researchers used the descriptive approach to study these relationships for a research sample of (26) players under (17) years of age from Al-Huda and Al-Ittihad Al-Masrati volleyball clubs. During the course of the study, skill tests were conducted, body measurements were taken for the sample members, and the results were extracted after statistically processing the data. The level of body measurements for volleyball players under 17 years of age, within the research sample, was generally high.
