Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of using modern technology by football coaches in Laghouat State in discovering and refining sports talents. The researcher relied on the descriptive approach, which was used to collect information from a sample of 30 coaches active in youth clubs.

The results revealed that 65% of coaches rely moderately to highly on technologies such as GPS performance tracking systems, motion video analysis, and physical activity monitoring watches. The study also confirmed that the use of these tools clearly contributed to identifying the strengths and weaknesses of junior players and accelerated the process of honing physical and technical skills.

On the other hand, the study showed that a lack of equipment and poor training in the use of technology remain among the most significant obstacles limiting the effectiveness of this process. Accordingly, the researcher recommended the need to support clubs with modern technological equipment and organize ongoing training courses for coaches on the use of technology in sports training.
