Special plyometric exercises and their effect on some biochemical indicators, electrical activity in the leg muscles, and the performance of the glove jump for gymnasts
Abstract
The study, in its content, aims to know the effect of plyometric exercises on some biomechanical indicators and the activity shown by the working muscles of the two men and the skillful performance of the glove phase of the technical gymnastics for young players. Objectives, where the research was conducted on a sample consisting of (8) players representing the specialized school team in Wasit governorate in the group of juniors, where they were divided into two groups (control and experimental) and by (4) juniors in each group, and the researcher granted three attempts to perform skills on Jumping table, with a total of (12) attempts for each group, and through video imaging of the technical performance of the front hand jump in the pre-test and by using cameras, a force measurement platform and an EMG device, and after the analysis and measurement procedures, the researcher reached to determine the values of the most important biochemical variables As well as measuring the electrical activity indicators of the muscles, and accordingly, special pliometric exercises were prepared for the He applied it to the experimental group, and after performing the post-test and by treating the data statistically and extracting the results, the researcher reached several conclusions, the most important of which are:
