The childhood stage is more susceptible to spinal deformities, where the muscles and ligaments are relatively weak and the bones and cartilage are soft, which makes the student’s body vulnerable to influence by external factors throughout the duration of the study. He was not carrying it in the pre-study stage, and with repetition, the vertebrae become accustomed to curvature, and the research aims to identify the effect of special orthodontic exercises in improving the flexibility and strength of the muscles working on the spine. The researcher used the experimental method by designing a single experimental group. The researcher chose the research community in a deliberate way, for ages (8-10 years), with dorsal curvature through the diagnosis of a specialist doctor. They numbered (14) students. The exercises consist of (30) therapeutic orthodontic units, and three orthodontic treatment units per week, as the duration of the exercises ranged from (25-40) minutes. The researcher concluded that the application of the use of orthodontic (therapeutic) exercises marked a significant improvement in the strength and flexibility of the muscles working on the spine. The researcher recommended emphasizing and paying attention to the physical education lesson and choosing model trips, as well as setting a schedule for lessons in order to reduce the burden and weight on students while carrying books in school bags.
