Abstract

The aim of the research is to prepare an educational program using the comparative advanced organizer strategy in learning some skills in artistic gymnastics for students, as well as to identify the effect of using the comparative advanced organizer strategy in learning some skills in artistic gymnastics for students. The community was challenged by the students of the second stage in the College of Physical Education, University of Babylon for the academic year (2023-2024, numbering (130) students distributed over four study sections (D, C, B, A-). Section (D, B-) was selected, numbering 60 students, by lottery. After excluding the failed students and gymnastics players, the research sample was determined and consisted of (30) students for each of the selected sections.

The researcher concluded that the strategy of the comparative advanced organizer greatly affects the learner's understanding of the detailed parts of the skills in technical gymnastics for students. The use of the strategy of the comparative advanced organizer in the educational process has a "great" and effective impact on acquiring the learning of the skill performance of the skills of the floor movements device in gymnastics. As a result of the student's independence and reliance on himself in discovery and evaluation. The strategy contributed effectively to the desire to learn.
