The importance of the study lies in the use of the generative learning method to learn the skills of the forward facing from the top and the skill of higher numbers near the net with volleyball on a sample of middle school students, where the generative learning method is an integrated model that makes the learner able to learn volleyball skills through connecting Previous experiences with the new information provided by the teacher through a specific and clear plan within the framework of the generative model, which is preparation_focus_challenge_implementation .
So the researcher noticed a lack of use of modern educational methods on students in addition to the need to introduce a variety of educational methods to achieve the best results, the researcher considered Going into an experiment to introduce one of the modern educational methods, which is the method of generative learning, to find out the extent of its impact on learning some basic skills in volleyball, which are the skill of forward facing from the top and the skill of high numbers close to the network.
The research sample was from the fifth preparatory grade students at Al-Amin Preparatory School / Baghdad Al-Karkh, the first in learning some basic skills between the two groups and in favor of the experimental group.
