The effect of playing football on the level of self-confidence of football academies players in Zarqa Governorate from the point of view of their coaches

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the effect of playing football on the level of self-confidence of players from the point of view of their coaches. The researcher used the descriptive approach to suit the nature of this study. Data was collected through a self-confidence questionnaire as a tool for the study. The study population consisted of (59) coaches in football academies Football in Zarqa Governorate.

The research sample included (38) trainers, meaning (64%) of the study population. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program was used to analyze the study data .

The results showed that the level of self-confidence among football players in the academies of Zarqa Governorate was high, and that practicing football has a positive and clear impact on raising the level of confidence among football players in the academies of Zarqa Governorate. The researcher recommends directing young people towards practicing football because of its benefits. It has an impact on raising their level of self-confidence, and directing young people towards playing football because of its importance in enhancing compliance with regulations and laws.
