Through the researcher’s follow-up and analysis of many basketball matches inside Iraq and interviewing many team coaches, he indicated the presence of weakness and inaccuracy in mastering the skill of long-range scoring. This skill is considered more influential in deciding the results of many matches. The researcher attributes that one of the reasons for this fluctuation is a weakness in the functional capabilities of the players. Junior basketball players, so the researcher decided to study this problem by preparing two sets of special exercises for strength with various resistances for junior football players aged (15) years, one using free weights and the other using a multi-purpose device (Multi-Gm), applying them to specific muscles and studying their effect on some. Abilities, functionality, and long-range scoring skill in basketball. The aim of the research is to:
1- Preparing exercises for various resistances, one with free weights and the other with a multi-purpose device (multi-gym), to develop some functional abilities and long-distance jumping for young basketball players.
2 - Identify the effect of special exercises with free weights on developing some functional abilities and long-distance jumping for emerging basketball players.
3- Identifying the effect of special exercises using a multi-purpose device (Multi-gym) to develop some functional abilities and long-distance jumping for emerging basketball players.
4- Identifying the differences between the effect of exercises with free weights and exercises using a multi-purpose device (multi-gym) in developing some functional abilities and long-distance jumping scoring for emerging basketball players.
1- The exercises for the multi-purpose machine (Multi-G) prepared by the researcher developed the long and short anaerobic ability and the scoring accuracy of the members of this group.
2- The free-weight exercises prepared by the researcher developed the long and short anaerobic ability and scoring accuracy among the members of this group.
3- There is an advantage in the development of (the weight group) at the expense of the (multi-gm group) in terms of long-term anaerobic capacity.
