The problem of the research centers on the fact that there is reluctance in some bilateral offensive tactical formations, including pieces, as this reluctance among the students of the fourth stage in their offensive tactical aspect, so after searching for what is advanced and appropriate with the students’ abilities and potentials, they arrived at preparing a measure that helps them develop the process Thinking and relying on the mental aspects, the efficiency of performance, and methods of analyzing them through analytical thinking, which thus depends on analyzing the skill and how to perform it, as well as finding a more appropriate model that works to serve the dual offensive tactical formations. Therefore, the researchers decided to study this problem, the effect of Needham’s structural model in developing analytical thinking and formation. The two-handball offensive tactics (cuts) for students. The aim of the research is to prepare an analytical thinking scale for students and to identify the effect of Needham’s structural model on analytical thinking and the students’ handball two-handball offensive tactical formation.
The researchers used the experimental method by designing (two equal groups with a pre- and post-test) in order to suit the nature of the problem and achieve the objectives of the research. The research community was represented by students from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, fourth stage - University of Babylon (2023-2024), who numbered (40) students, and included units interspersed with Special cutting exercises for the studied skill. The researchers concluded
Members of the experimental group that applied the steps of the Needham constructivist model and the exercises used according to the model outperformed the members of the control group in cutting with the students’ handball. Needham’s constructive model reflected positively on the technical performance of the bilateral tactical formations, including the cutting with the students’ handball.
