The research problem was revealed by the researchers noticing that these students suffer from weakness in some boxing skills. The researchers attribute this to each teacher determining the method and educational contents that teach the skill, and the lack of sufficient educational units within the curriculum, in addition to the lack of use of educational methods, especially the boxing method. The Cuban school of boxing, which facilitates the learning process. The study also aimed to: prepare complex exercises according to the Cuban school in learning the side punch and take-off, and identifying their effect on boxing for students.
The researchers used the experimental method by designing the control and experimental groups with pre- and post-tests, the nature of the problem, and verification of the research hypotheses, while the research community included second-year students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Karbala for the academic year (2022-2023), amounting to 120 students gathered together to research the fact that the subject Boxing is taught in it. After that, the researcher selected his research sample randomly from the researched population, with (40) students, representing (33%) of the original population. They were divided into two groups (control and experimental) by lottery, where each group included (20) students. The exploratory sample was chosen by (10) students, representing (8%) from the community of origin, as a exploratory sample using a random sampling method.
In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers sought to prepare complex exercises according to the Cuban school and its impact on the variables investigated. Using the statistical package (SPSS) with some statistical laws to process the data and extract results, the following conclusions were reached.
1- The two groups achieved their goals in learning the side punch and the boxing kick, to varying degrees among the research sample.
2-Using the Cuban school method was better than the method followed by the teacher in the control group in learning the side punch and the boxing kick.
