Psychological endurance and its relationship to psychological adaptation among individual and team event players

The study aims to study psychological endurance and its relationship to psychological adaptation among players of individual and team sports events in Diwaniyah Governorate, and to identify the levels of endurance and psychological adaptation among the research sample. The research sample consisted of players of some individual events (arena, field, weightlifting, wrestling, table tennis, and judo), and their number reached (40) players, (8) players for each event. As for the team events, they were (football, basketball, handball, volleyball, and pentathlon). The number of them reached (40) players, (8) players. The researcher used the descriptive method in a survey method and also used The researcher used measures of psychological endurance and psychological adaptation, and after activating the research procedures, the researcher reached the following conclusions. Players of individual and team games are distinguished by a high level of psychological endurance, and there is a difference among players of individual and team games in the sense of psychological adaptation. And players of individual games obtained a higher score than players of individual games. Team games in psychological endurance. Players do not reach a degree of outstanding psychological endurance performance without feeling a high degree of psychological adaptation. Previous experience and high tactics help players withstand psychological pressure. The researcher recommended: Plans and approaches must be developed to develop psychological endurance and psychological adaptation and pay attention to them among players. Training personnel must be interested in developing psychological endurance and psychological adaptation in competitions. Training staff and players must confront psychological phenomena and work to raise the level of psychological adaptation. The psychological adaptation of players in individual and team games is of great importance in achieving sporting achievements.
