The beginning of deep learning in the early educational stages is considered an important factor for the success of an athlete or basketball player in the future. Therefore, we, as teachers and coaches, seek to pay attention to the young person and develop his skills from a young age through means of good preparation and correct educational methods.
Through the researcher’s experience as a former teacher in the primary school staff and her many observations during her time in that staff, she noticed that there is a clear failure in scoring by students aged 8-12 years, as the researcher tried to direct her interest in finding new methods and means of entertainment that suit This age is in order to learn and develop the skill of scoring by using fixed and moving targets, where the students score by jumping and standing on them, to avoid repeated failures, so the student develops and learns the skill of scoring.
Therefore, the goal of the research was to learn about moving goals and their effect as an aid in learning to score from standing still and from jumping in mini basketball.
We used an experimental approach for only one sample, with a pre- and post-test, on students in the fifth grade of Al-Farahidi Primary School for Boys, through a lottery. They numbered (63) students in the city of Ali Al-Saleh - Baghdad Governorate. After completing the pre- and post-tests and applying the exercises using moving targets, the data were treated statistically, and the researcher concluded that the ideal use is to perform exercises by moving the targets, as they had a positive impact on developing scoring from standing still and jumping.
