The aim of the research is to prepare rubber ropes exercises within the watery medium for young javelin throwers and to identify the effect of these exercises on the explosive ability of the arms and legs, the speed of the last step and the achievement of young javelin throwers.
The mentioned exercises were applied for a period of two months with two training units per week on the research sample (6) young javelin throwers of the southern region who compete in the races held by the Iraqi Athletics Federation for the 2022 sports season (by random way), then they were divided into two equal groups, each group of 6 Players, and the performance ability was measured in the back weight throw tests, the medical ball throwing test weighing 2 kg from sitting on the chair, and the Sargent test, i.e. to measure (the performance ability of the legs, trunk and arms, the explosive ability of the arms, the explosive ability of the legs) and the flexibility of the trunk and upper limb and the speed of the last step, which was done Extracted by video imaging as well as (the final achievement achieved) for six attempts for each shooter in all the tests used in the research.
The results showed that the rubber ropes exercises as well as the training approved by the trainers had a clear impact in raising the level of training and developing the explosive ability and speed of the last step of the players in the effectiveness of javelin throwing, which was reflected on the improvement of the final achievement, and that the development of the explosive ability and the speed of the last step of the archers in the effectiveness of javelin throwing was a result of The rubber ropes exercises inside the water medium were directly reflected in the development of the final achievement of the experimental group better than the control group that was targeted by exercises in the usual way, as the researchers recommend using these exercises in parallel to achieve better results for various sports activities, especially those that depend on explosive ability and emphasis on the allocation of physical exercises Similar to technique (technical performance), especially in activities that directly depend on achievement capabilities and mechanical variables.
