Challenges Facing Teaching Staff Members in Using Electronic Learning Systems in College of Sport Sciences at the University of Jordan in Shadow of Corona Pandemic

Abstract

This study aimed at finding out the challenges facing teaching staff members in using the electronic learning systems in faculty of sport sciences at the University of Jordan in shadow of Corona Pandemic within the variables (gender, department, and years of experience), through answering the study questions.

Study population and study sample consisted of all teaching staff members at the University of Jordan, their number is (20) members of the teaching staff.

A questionnaire has been developed based on the literature review and the previous related studies its validity was confirmed and conducting the relevant statistical processes for it.

The study reached that level of the challenges facing the teaching staff members in using the electronic learning systems in faculty of sport sciences at the University of Jordan in shadow of Corona Pandemic came at high degree, and the absence of differences with statistical significance at significance level (a<0.05) in the challenges facing the teaching staff members in using the electronic learning systems at the University of Jordan in shadow of Corona Pandemic attribute to gender variable.

And the presence of difference, with  statistical significance at significance level (a<0.05) in the challenges facing the teaching staff member in using the electronic learning systems in shadow of Corona Pandemic attribute to years of experience.

The study recommended the necessity for developing the relevant infrastructure for teaching technique division at the University to apply the electronic teaching through providing the qualified human resources to make electronic courses, and introducing un-simultaneous lectures through the web.
