The research aims to prepare exercises (with weighting) for the special preparation period for advanced football players and to identify the effect of these exercises in developing the speed associated with agility and the accuracy of performing offensive skills for football players. The researchers hypothesized that there is an effect of the proposed exercises in developing the speed associated with agility and the accuracy of performing offensive skills for football players. Football, and the research sample was the players of Al-Kout Sports Club football, one of the second-tier clubs for the season (2021-2022), who numbered (23) players. One of the players was excluded due to his injury and inability to perform the skill tests and the physical effort test, and the main experiment was applied to it. The number of players on whom the main experiment was conducted became (16) players, and thus the percentage of the sample became (69.56%).
The researchers concluded that the applied program demonstrated clear progress over the research group in the variables under study, and that the training resulting from the use of the proposed exercises positively affects the improvement of the level of physical performance, which affects the accuracy and performance of offensive skills in football.
