Basketball has witnessed an amazing qualitative development in all its physical aspects and basic skills based on training curricula prepared according to advanced scientific foundations, which has made this game rise to the highest levels. The research problem arises in the question about the form of the simple global structure that can appear in basketball players? Which physical abilities can the factor structure provide as summary variables? Can these independent variables express to us the efficiency of performance in competitive situations, and thus provide us with some indicators that the coach can use in evaluating his players? The research aims to:
1- Designing two test batteries for both the specific physical and skill preparation of emerging basketball players.
2-Determine a set of brief tests (representing the extracted factors) that are capable of providing a description of the specific physical and skill set of the research sample. He concluded:
Factor analysis using orthogonal rotation conducted on (27) variables representing physical tests and skill tests for emerging basketball players revealed ten factors, eight of which were accepted in light of the conditions set for accepting the factor.
