The effect of the practical demonstration strategy in reducing the cognitive load and learning some offensive skills in volleyball for female students

The importance of the research lies in knowing the effect of the practical demonstration strategy in reducing the cognitive load and learning some offensive skills in volleyball for female students, by preparing exercises according to this strategy according to the capabilities of the research sample.
The researchers used the experimental method with an experimental design for two groups (experimental and control) with a cardio test and a post-test. The research population was determined by the female students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences - the second stage for the academic year 2022-2023, who numbered (30) students, and a sample of (20) female students was selected from the research population. After that, a measure of cognitive load and tests of offensive skills in volleyball were chosen. After that, an educational curriculum was prepared according to the strategy of practical demonstrations. Then pre-tests were conducted and the educational curriculum was applied in (12) educational units. After that, the post-test was conducted. Appropriate statistical methods were used in processing the data. The researchers used the statistical package (SPSS), twenty-third version. The researchers concluded:
The good presentation method by the teacher contributed significantly to reducing the cognitive load and learning offensive skills in volleyball.
