From the above, the importance of researching using the directed imagination strategy becomes clear, as the researcher believes that it has a significant impact on the development of some of the physical variables investigated and is a clear reason for students to learn the skill of shooting by jumping high with handball.
The research aims to identify the effect of the directed imagination strategy on the explosive ability of the arms and legs and learning the skill of aiming by jumping high with the handball for students, and to identify the significance of the differences between the control and experimental research groups in the results of post-tests to test the explosive ability of the arms and legs and learning the skill of aiming by jumping high with the handball. For students.
The research population consisted of students of the second stage in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Karbala for the academic year (2021 - 2022), who numbered (97) students, distributed into (4) groups (A - B - C - D), and in a random way using a lottery method, it was Choosing Division (A) as an experimental group and Division (C) as a control group. The researcher conducted his field experiment on a sample of (30) students, with (15) students for each group. The percentage of the sample from the original population was equal to (30.92), and (10) were chosen. ) Students to represent the sample of the exploratory experiment.
One of the most important conclusions reached by the researcher is that the guided imagination strategy and the method used by the teacher had a positive impact on the explosive ability of the arms and legs and learning the skill of aiming by jumping high with a handball for the students. And that there is an advantage for the experimental group over the control group in the variables investigated.
