Designing an educational program through digital communication to improve the refereeing skills of futsal referees

Abstract

      The importance of the research lies in the possibility of benefiting from designing a new program with digital communication, which in turn helps to communicate and follow up with the referees and also allows the referee to read and follow the law through the educational program. Through the researcher’s observation and field and practical follow-up, he found that most referees need great attention in their development and that they are the basis for the success of matches. The research aims to: design an educational program using digital communication to improve the refereeing skills of futsal referees. And also to identify the effect of the educational program on digital communication in improving refereeing skills. The researchers used the experimental approach to solve the research problem. The research population are the first-class futsal referees for the season (2022/2023) in Iraq, and the research population was (96) first-class referees and referees, and it was a sample. Research (15) rulings for applying the scale in its final form and testing arbitration skills. The researcher designed a digital communication program for the Futsal Law, and the results reached by the researchers were presented, analyzed and discussed.

The most important conclusions were that designing an educational program using digital communication helped referees read and follow some arbitration cases, and also educational program for the referees’ movement and ease of use and browsing had a significant impact on developing the referees’ arbitration skills.
