It has become necessary to pay attention to the lesson of physical education, which constitutes the practical application to achieve the educational and educational goals, according to the scientific foundations. Basketball is one of the exciting and popular team games for young and old, and it is one of the popular games that are played by athletes and amateurs and can be played at all times. The study aims to identify the impact of the two methods of self-application in learning technical (skillful) performance (knocking, handling and scoring) in basketball for the students of the third stage, the research sample. into two control and experimental groups of 40 students for each group, after excluding the sample of the exploratory experiment, Division D, consisting of 20 students, and their equivalence and juxtaposition was conducted in the influencing variables. Initiate the exercises of the prepared curriculum, and after the end of the period of application of the curriculum in the self-application method on the experimental research sample, post-tests were conducted, and the obtained data were processed using the spss statistical bag. Research in learning skillful performance (knocking, handling and scoring) The researcher recommended the need to pay attention to these skills for students and use the appropriate method for learning, including the method of self-application, which was found to be influential in the learning process for students in the research sample.
