Abstract

The importance of the research lies in the use of intense, fast, repeated exercises in a short time, and taking quick intervals of rest between them, which works to move the level of the fitness elements associated with the game, as it is the main essence in enabling the player to provide an integrated physical skill performance commensurate with the nature of performance in the game of volleyball. As for the research problem, through the researcher's follow-up to the qualifying league for the first degree, and being a former player in the Iraqi volleyball league, he noticed that some players in the clubs of Dhi Qar governorate face difficulty in performing some basic skills despite having a good skill level and their inability to continue at the same level in With the progress of the match, especially in the last rounds, which prompted the researcher to delve into the study of this problem, attributing it to the weakness of the level of some elements of physical fitness, which affects the nature of performance. physical fitness as mentioned in previous studies. The objectives of the research were to identify the statistical differences between the pre and post tests for the level of some elements of physical fitness and the accuracy of the performance of the skill of blocking the wall for the control and experimental groups, to identify the statistical differences between the control and experimental groups in the level of some elements of physical fitness and the accuracy of the performance of the skill of blocking the wall in the post-test. As for the research hypotheses, the researcher assumed that there are significant statistical differences between the pre and post tests for the level of some elements of physical fitness and the accuracy of the performance of the blocking skill for the control and experimental groups. In the post-test. The researcher used the experimental method in the manner of two equal groups (experimental and control), and the research community consisted of volleyball players in the district of Souq Al-Shuyukh, who numbered (33) players.
