Healing methods are important in accelerating the recovery process of the athlete from the fatigue of physical effort, raising his physical and sports efficiency, eliminating psychological tension, and returning the work of the functional organs of the body to a normal state.
Therefore, the return of the player to the normal state has become one of the important things that must be known by handball coaches, and this is what prompted the researchers to use healing methods (cooling - vibratory massage - calming exercises) and find out which means are faster in returning the player to his natural state. The aim of the research was to identify the effect of some healing methods (cooling - vibration massage - calming exercises) after handball matches on the concentration of lactic acid in the blood of young players. As for the hypothesis of the research, it is reflected in the presence of significant differences between the measurements of some means of recovery after handball matches on the concentration of lactic acid in the blood of young players.
The researchers used the descriptive approach, and the research sample and community were the junior players of Al-Daghara Handball Club, born (2004-2005) for the 2021-2022 season, and their number was (12 players), their heights ranged (4.86 ± 182.74 cm), their weights were (7.24 ± 81.91 kg) and the concentration of lactic acid at the time Rest before exercise (0.58±1.23 mmol/L). The researchers measured the lactic acid after the end of the three matches (5 minutes), then the hospitalization methods were used, and finally the lactic acid concentration was measured after (10 minutes). After statistically processing the data using the (Pillai's Trace) and (L.S.D) test, it was concluded that the use of some recovery methods after handball matches has a positive effect in decreasing the concentration of lactic acid in the blood, and that cryotherapy is the best and fastest way to restore recovery and then follow Calming exercises and finally vibrating massage.
