The impact of the learning style for mastery in the cognitive aspects and learning the stages of jumping effectiveness long for students

One of the most important foundations in preparing students to learn the stages of long jump effectiveness is the use of modern methods, including the method of learning for mastery. For the purpose of achieving this, the researcher used the experimental approach due to its suitability to the research problem and its objective, and the research community included students of the first stage in the Faculty of Physical Education, Garmian University for the academic year 2022-2021and their number was 37 male and female students, while the research sample was30 students chosen in this way. Regular randomization, and the two researchers used a performance evaluation form, and after collecting data, they were treated statistically using the statistical package of social sciences (SPSS). The most important conclusions were reached: There are statistically significant differences between the pre and post tests of the stages of long jump effectiveness for the two groups in favor of the post tests, as well as the superiority of the experimental group over the control group in the post tests. The method of learning for mastery is one of the modern methods that have a positive impact on the cognitive aspects and learning the stages of the long jump. In light of this, the two researchers recommended the following: Adopting the learning method in order to be able to teach the long jump or other activities in athletics, as it is one of the successful and influential methods. And conducting similar studies and research by making a comparison between other new methods as a means of learning the activities of athletics and other games as well
