Abstract

Functional strength training is considered one of the most important muscular strength exercises that aim to develop strength and speed, and maintaining motor performance is one of the most important foundations for the success of functional strength training. The importance of the research lies in the preparation of functional strength exercises with relative weights added and that these weights should not negatively affect the performance of the athlete and the inclusion of these exercises in the stage of special preparation so that these exercises aim to develop the muscular capabilities represented by the explosive power and the rapid strength of the runners 110 meters hurdles The applicants, and the research problem lies in the multiplicity of modern training methods and the use of modern devices and tools in training muscular capabilities and the different opinions of trainers about training muscular capabilities, so the researchers resorted to studying muscular strength training, including functional strength training with weights relative to the working muscles of the athlete and studying the importance of functional strength training And with relative weights added in order to obtain data and information that serve the training process and athletes in a way in general and runners in particular. The researchers aimed to prepare functional strength exercises with added relative weights aimed at developing muscular capabilities represented by explosive power and rapid strength.
