Small games and their impact on enhancing self-confidence among homeless girls in Baghdad governorate

Abstract

The study aimed to prepare a small games program for homeless girls in Baghdad governorate. And also to identify the effect of small games in enhancing self-confidence in the post-test among homeless girls in Baghdad governorate, and the experimental method was used in one group in the two tests (pre and post). As for the research community, it consisted of vagrant girls from Dar Al-Aman in the Baghdad governorate, and they numbered 48 girls. Also, a group of aids were used, including a measure of self-confidence and some small games. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the pre and post applications. This means the continuation of the effectiveness of small games to enhance the self-confidence of homeless girls in Baghdad governorate. As well as the presence of significant differences in self-confidence among homeless girls in Baghdad governorate in the post-test and with statistical significance. The researchers recommend emphasizing the continuous reapplying of small games to homeless girls of all ages because of their positive impact on the girls' psyche. Also, the need to pay attention to the problems of homeless girls and try to help them find alternatives and solutions that help them overcome the obstacles they face
