The game of handball and volleyball, like any other sporting activity, needs measurement and evaluation in different skills, and those interested in these two games need a lot of tests of a scientific type based on statistical methods that confirm their stability and enhance their powers in measuring performance and using modern training methods according to the foundations In order to obtain the best results, it is necessary for volleyball and handball players to enjoy the variables used, both ability and anaerobic capacity, which are among the important variables in these two games, and in order to clarify the importance of their joint influence on the level of their performance during matches. Handball and volleyball are among the games that require physiological variables and high efficiency of the players, since these variables differ from one game to another as they depend on the energy systems used in the type of game and fulfill the requirements of the skills used that they practice inside the stadium, despite the difference in energy systems Used in these two games, the need to search for the role of the importance of anaerobic capacity and capacity between handball and volleyball players and their impact on performance, hence the research problem. The study aimed to: Know the differences of anaerobic capacity and capacity between the players of the handball and volleyball teams of the University of Kufa. As for the research methodology and its field procedures, the researchers used the descriptive approach due to its suitability and the nature of the research. 2022-2021, and the number is (30 players for both teams, and from them the research sample was chosen in a simple random way on 12 players, divided into 6 players equally between the handball team and the volleyball team
