The effect of self-teaching and training methods on learning the skills of handling and scoring in football for second-year students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Al-Muthanna University

The importance of the research lies in being an attempt to raise the level of learning on the one hand and the level of students on the other hand through the use of different educational methods to suit the age level and the nature of the skill to learn different skills in football for students. The research problem is the multiplicity of modern teaching methods that helped achieve educational and educational goals. The student is now able to participate in the teaching process according to the type of teaching method and the material delivered by the teacher. In some methods, the student was given some decisions related to the achievement of the exercise, the assessment, and how to properly perform the motor duty. The researchers noticed that they are teachers in the college that learning all motor skills, especially football skills, depends on the traditional (order) method, and this method in which the teacher makes all decisions (planning and preparation decisions, implementation decisions, evaluation decisions) and the role of the student is to perform and follow orders. And as a result of the progress and development of the educational process, the researchers decided to use the self-teaching and training methods in addition to the commanding method followed, as the importance of research using the mentioned methods in the educational process to learn different football skills for students. The aim of the research is to identify the effect of using teaching methods, the training method, and the self-styled method to learn different football skills for students, as well as identifying the best method for learning different football skills for students.
