The aim of the research is to identify the importance of the developed principal’s course in improving the job performance of physical education teachers in Al-Rusafa schools in Baghdad, and whether the principal’s standard was applied according to the indicators approved in the course and whether it achieved the required results, as well as the impact of the principal’s cycle and its relationship to job performance (according to the school principal’s standard indicators in The guide for school principals, developers and leaders of the capacity-building program in primary and secondary education, and to identify the extent to which the principals participating in this course are understood and applied. The participants in this course, and the scientific sources and references related to the subject of the research were relied upon for the purpose of achieving the goal of the research. Questionnaires on physical education teachers during the research period, and after using the appropriate statistical methods for the subject of the research to reach accurate results I am drawn to some conclusions and recommendations:
1.Most of the managers had a lot of interest in the skill side because it is closely related to their administrative work, and they neglected the knowledge side and the side of values and trends.
2.Many school administrations neglected to implement all the standards they received during the course, and because these standards represent a series of episodes, some of which succeed each other, which negatively affected the administration in implementing the most important part of its work.
The most important recommendations are:
1.It is necessary to confirm by the supervision of these courses the permanent review of the training brochure for the course of the developed manager to learn more about the standards and how to apply them according to the indicators approved in the brochure.
- Working on issuing thank you books for schools that get good evaluations during and after the results of visits to the external evaluation, as these results reflect an indicator of the administration’s understanding and implementation of the developed director’s course curriculum.
3.Working to involve teachers and teachers, including physical education, in a course on the concept of the objectives of the project (capacity building for school administrations) organized by UNICEF, as it is important for teachers and teachers to know about this project because they are part of it.
