The aim of the research: to identify the research statistical relationship between mental toughness and its relationship with the penalty kicks and the angle for youth in football for the research sample that was subjected to the psychological hardness test and the penalty and corner kicks test in football that was dealt with in the research.
The researchers hypothesized: There is a statistically significant correlation between mental toughness in the penalty kicks and the angle in soccer.
The researchers used the descriptive approach to suit the nature of the research. The study was conducted on a sample of youth players of the Police Sports Club in football for the football season (2020-2021), representing the age group (17-19) years, and their number is (34) players, and they constitute (70.58) of The original research community and then tested by the deliberate method. The statistical package (spss) was used in the following statistical treatments: (percentage percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, correlation coefficient (Pearson)). The researchers concluded that the mental toughness test has achieved a significant correlation in the two-stroke test. The penalty and the corner in football. When comparing the results of the tests.
