The purpose of this paper: to prepare a rehabilitation program using therapeutic exercises for the muscles working on the ankle joint for basketball players, and to identify the effect of the rehabilitation program using therapeutic exercises for the muscles working on the ankle joint for basketball players. As for the research hypothesis, there is an effect of the program Rehabilitation using therapeutic exercises for the muscles working on the ankle joint for basketball players, what is the methodology of the research, which was represented by using the experimental method, while the research community represented the Iraqi league players for the first-degree basketball, which numbered (8) players, and (2) players were excluded because of the presence of They had severe injuries, and the type of injury was homogeneous, and the researcher (6) for the experiment, and determined the injury of the second degree (medium) after diagnosis by the specialist doctor, and the researcher designed a rehabilitation program for the ankle joint in terms of gradation and flexibility to perform exercises for the injured by three weekly units with an executive period of 16 weeks, and the researcher used the spss statistical program to extract his results. As for the most important conclusions reached by the researcher, they are:
1.Special therapeutic exercises have a positive effect on the development of the working muscle group in terms of muscle strength.
- The results showed a positive effect of therapeutic exercises in the kinetic range (upward, downward, outward, inward).
3.The application of the therapeutic exercises used had a positive effect in developing the strength and flexibility of the ligaments and muscles and the improvement in the angles of the range of motion of the ankle joint through the improvement of the muscular balance of the muscles.
