The importance of the research lies in the introduction of non-traditional methods in the learning process, which is the inverted learning method, as well as the use of an educational platform, which is the MOODLE platform, as an attempt to develop motor coordination and learn the skill of peaceful shooting and stability in basketball for students.
While the research problem focused: Through field researchers’ follow-up to the practical lessons of basketball in the faculties and departments of physical education and sports sciences, they noticed that there is a difficulty for students in learning and mastering basic skills such as shooting from stability and peaceful basketball for students and a lack of them being able to perform it as required, The reason for this is due to the relatively difficult skills and the lack of time allotted for each student to perform these skills due to the large number of students in the educational unit, as well as the need for a great kinetic compatibility.
The researchers decided to find appropriate solutions by introducing the inverted learning method in the preparation of educational units in conjunction with electronic technologies Modern, including the educational platform (Moodle), so that students can identify the most important minute details of the skills they are required to learn via the computer or other smart devices and participate in asking questions about the skill and participate with colleagues by discussing their details and their detailed minutes.
The objectives of the research were determined in preparing the inverted learning method using the (Moodle) platform, as well as identifying the effect of inverted learning using the (Moodle) platform in developing motor compatibility and learning the skill of shooting from stability and peaceful basketball for students.
The researchers followed the experimental approach by designing two equal groups with pre and post tests, and on the main research sample of (28) students from the first stage of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / University of Babylon. The sample was divided into two groups with (14) students for each group. The experimental group followed the inverted learning method using the Moodle platform, while the control group followed the method followed by the subject teacher, and after completing the implementation of the vocabulary of this learning, the results were extracted and processed by appropriate statistical means. The researchers reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are: The method Inverted learning using the Moodle platform had a major role in learning the skill of shooting from stability and peaceful basketball for students. The development of motor compatibility was positively reflected on learning the skill of shooting from stability and peaceful basketball for students.
In light of these conclusions, the researchers recommended several recommendations, the most important of which are: the necessity of adopting the inverted learning method using the (Moodle) platform in learning the basic skills of basketball, as well as emphasizing the introduction of the (Moodle) platform during the educational units in learning skills in games and other events.
