Abstract

The researchers discussed the adoption of rhythmic gymnastics as a basic and important lesson in the faculties of physical education and its practice by female students, as this sport is characterized by its aesthetic character and also helps to improve physical fitness and improve the body and others that are reflected through linking structural movements, dance movements, acrobatics and ballet art with musical accompaniment, as it expresses the beauty of movement, its harmony and fluidity, and also highlights the importance of mental abilities as variables that affect the manifestation of skill capabilities with high fluidity in performance, and then this is reflected in the level of performance among female students, especially since it constitutes a wide range on which the processes that occur inside the brain depend, in addition to the fact that rhythmic gymnastics movements require great physical effort in order to reach a high level of performance, the student must have high motor abilities to meet some of the requirements for performing rhythmic gymnastics movements, represented by agility and balance And the compatibility in performing rhythmic movements, which prompted her to predict rhythmic gymnastic movements in terms of the most important mental and motor abilities of female students of the faculties of physical education.
