Through the researcher's experience of the weakness of the tennis training center in Babylon in knowing the variables under study (the skill of the forehand and backhand stroke in tennis from stability and mental alertness), among tennis players under 19 years old, as they are players who practice performance to reach the level, so the researcher decided to address this problem and study it by using the measures specific to each of these variables on what we carry as a research sample. The aim of the research is to identify mental alertness and its relationship to the performance of the forehand and backhand stroke among the players of the tennis training center in Babylon. As for the research hypothesis, there are statistically significant differences between mental alertness and its relationship to the performance of the skill of the forehand stroke in tennis among the players of the training center for the training center in Babylon in tennis after determining the research community represented by the players of the tennis training center, whose number is (12 players) the research sample, where when the researcher seeks to achieve a specific goal or purpose of the study, he chooses the sample members in a way that serves and achieves this purpose or goal, and in a random manner and by the method of drawing lots, the sample was determined, which is "the part that represents the original community or the model in which the researcher conducts his entire work And its axis is on it "(4), so that it became and its number is (12) players and in the intentional way players were chosen from the research sample to implement the exploratory experiment and its number is (4 players) and the researcher concluded that it was reached to use the mental alertness scale for tennis players under 19 years old that the mental alertness scale for tennis players consists of 25 paragraphs There is a correlation between mental alertness and the skill of the forehand ball for tennis players under 19 years old.
