Abstract

Through the researcher's review, negative automatic thoughts have not received sufficient attention, despite the many studies that have addressed this concept and its relationship to many variables among university students, most of which were from an administrative perspective and not from a psychological perspective. Therefore, the researcher was obliged to choose this topic for the current research to answer the following questions: -

1- What is the level of negative automatic thoughts and self-efficacy expectations among players of the University of Babylon futsal team. The research aims to:

1-Prepare a scale of negative automatic thoughts and identify the level of emotional intelligence and prepare a scale of self-efficacy expectations for players of the University of Babylon futsal team.

The researcher concluded:-

1- The results showed that futsal players responded to the scale to varying degrees, as it was found that the players' response to the four axes (negative expectations, audience pressure, low self-esteem, negative perception of competition) was at a low level.
