The effect of educational units using the two styles of competition (group and individual) in developing some basic football skills for students

The use of methods that are more developed and influential, including the two styles of competition (team – individual), which accompany the type of activity related to football skills, and prove their effectiveness and the extent of the impact of each of them on the educational process for students through the optimal investment of effort and time, as well as the extent of their contribution to enriching the teacher with the practical style that Through which he can make the educational process a success and keep pace with the scientific development of this game. The problem of the research was the lack of noticeable progress in the level of the learners despite the efforts made by the teacher. The researcher conducts a serious scientific study through which she learns about the impact of the two styles of team and individual competition in learning some basic skills in football. The researcher used the experimental method with three equal groups. The research community was represented by first-stage students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Thi-Qar University, who numbered (52) students. The research sample consisted of (45) students, and they constituted (91.12%) of the total community of origin, and the sample was divided into three groups, and the researcher concluded that the educational units using the two styles of competition (team and individual) contributed to improving some of the basic skills of football for students.
