Abstract

Arthritis and degenerative disc disease (the normal wear of the discs in the spine) are the underlying cause of many types of chronic low back pain. Low back pain and neck pain are among the most common reasons for visits to healthcare facilities. The pain is usually caused by problems with the musculoskeletal system—particularly the spine, including the bones of the spine (the back bones or vertebrae), the discs, and the muscles and ligaments that support them. Low back pain sometimes results from a disorder that does not involve the musculoskeletal system. The lower back is more common as people age, affecting more than half of those over 60 years of age. It is one of the high-cost cases in terms of health care payments, disability payments and wasting work time. Or the cause of lower back pain is due to trauma related to accidents and acute stress. The causes of back pain vary between reasons related to lifestyle or due to the nature of the work that the person practices and lack of exercise. Excessive sports and life pressures, or due to injuries and physical or psychological diseases, which causes weakness of the muscles of the lower back in the lumbar region, as the weak muscles do not support the spine, and may cause the curvature of the lower back. The research aims to prepare a sports program for the prevention of lower pain The back includes exercises for strength, flexibility and lengthening in order to strengthen the weak muscles and lengthen the strong muscles in order to reach a state of muscular balance so that there is no kind of stress on the muscles without the other. the researcher used the experimental approach. Significant in relieving lower back pain in the research sample as a result of the strength of the abdominal muscles, the posterior thigh muscles, and the extension of the anterior thigh muscle.
